The Eye Area
The eye area lacks supportive connective tissue: it is particularly thin, sensitive, and stressed. Blood vessel supply is lower. The eye area is heavily strained millions of times daily by facial expressions and other movements. The result is wrinkle formation, fine lines, under-eye bags, and crow's feet.
Characteristics:
-No sebaceous glands
-Brittle, inelastic skin
The area around the eyes is particularly sensitive and extremely thin, and its ability to absorb certain fats is very limited. Collagen and elastin fibers are less effectively interlocked, which is why the overall firmness of the skin is weaker and every small wrinkle can appear more pronounced.
