Does the Intensive Rich Cream differ from a conventional "rich cream"?
Absolutely. The Intensive Rich Cream is not just a moisturizing cream. It combines lipids, ceramides, peptides, and antioxidants – for visible regeneration and long-term healthy skin.
Is the cream suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. The Intensive Rich Cream was specially developed for dry to very dry skin. Since we do not use fragrance allergens, silicones, mineral oils, PEGs and parabens, it is also very well tolerated by sensitive skin.
Why does the cream contain no classic emulsifiers?
The Intensive Rich Cream relies on skin-identical, plant-based lipids such as phosphatidylcholine. They mimic the skin's structure, strengthen the barrier, and are particularly well absorbed – for visibly healthier skin. Many conventional creams, however, contain emulsifiers such as polysorbates, PEG derivatives (e.g., PEG-40 stearate), or Ceteareth-20. These can soften the skin barrier and disrupt the skin's natural balance in the long term.
Can I combine the cream with the serums?
Yes, the Intensive Rich Cream is optimally matched to all RE SKIN serums. Apply the serum first, followed by the cream – this provides even more intensive hydration and nourishment for the skin.
